The National Award winning actress seems to have become the favourite of not only cine-goers, but also brands. The actress, who was reported to accept an endorsement deal for a Kerala-based apparel brand just two days back, has signed yet another contract with PepsiCo. The actress will be endorsing the company's snack brand Aliva's new range of products.

Post three consecutive successes – No One Killed Jessica, The Dirty Picture and Kahaani- Balan has been the talk of the town. And at a time when the actress is at the peak of her career, it is not surprising if companies want her to promote their brands. But what comes as a shock is Balan’s pay cheque. Today when most of the top actresses are making headlines for minting crores of rupees from endorsement deals, Vidya Balan has startled everyone by charging in lakhs.

According to recent reports, Balan will be endorsing the Kerala-based apparel brand for just a mere Rs 30 lakh. Even for her latest deal with PepsiCo, the actress is said to be charging much less than her equals like Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif (charges Rs 4-4.5 crore). As a matter of fact Balan, who is considered among the top five heroines in Bollywood, is reported to be making much less from endorsement deals in comparison to likes of Sonam Kapoor (charges Rs 3 crore) and Genelia D’Souza (Rs 1.25 cr).
